Georgian Contemporary Art to go on Display in New York

NEW YORK - Georgian artists will exhibit their work at the Emmanuel Fremin Gallery in New York.

From May 31 before June 6, people living in New York will have an opportunity to see paintings by more than a dozen contemporary Georgian artists.

The organizer of the exhibition is US-based promotional company Madatart. managed by Marita Damenia.

“This is a great opportunity for art viewers and agents to get to know new artists from Europe. Half of exhibition space is already reserved,” the Georgian-born Damenia said.

She plans to organize an exhibition of Georgian artists in the US’ Miami and Los Angeles, as well as the Swiss city of Zurich.

The Emmanuel Fremin Gallery has previously launched and fostered the careers of an eclectic group of artists by providing many of them with their debut solo exhibitions in New York.
