10-Year-Old Georgian Painter Invited to Paris
10-year-old Tamar Nozadze, a pupil of the Kutaisi Niko Nikoladze school-lyceum, has been invited to an exhibition in Paris.
The school administration reports that Tamar was named winner of the Club De Chance organization project – Draw Me Peace.
Tamar’s paintings were named among the best pieces of 2018 and her painting World Without War was the reason she was invited to take part in the exhibition in Paris, to be held in May, 2018.
The 10 year-old girl is also a gymnast, and speaks three languages: English, Russian and French. She also plays the violin.
The international Drawing Competition 'Draw Me Peace' is a cultural and humanitarian apolitical project involving children from different countries.
Theannual contest is a powerful symbol of the world seen through children’s eyes.
The awards ceremony is to take place in Paris on May 9, the official date of the end of the Second World War.
More than 2,000 children from 30 countries took part in the project
