PM Kvirikashvili Joins Other Leaders In Congratulating New US State Secretary

After the US Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mike Pompeo as the new US state secretary, leaders across the world congratulate him for his new position. Although many international observers worry about the new direction of the US state department as Pompeo is known to be a tough negotiator supporting many of Trump’s economic and political ideas, the move my international leaders comes in form of appeasement and formality. 

Following, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulates Pompeo to his new position by tweeting:

“Congratulations to Mike #Pompeo on his confirmation as the 70th Secretary of State! I wish him success in his future endeavors. Looking forward to further deepening and strengthening strategic partnership between #Georgia and the #USA. #USGeorgia @StateDept”
