Additional Train Allocated for Ennio Morricone’s Concert

Georgian Railway reports that in order to help people attend Ennio Morricone’s concert on May 19 at the Black Sea Arena in Shekvetili, Guria, and to avoid highway overload, the Georgian Railway on May 19 is to add an extra commuter train.

“The commuter train (No.6305 / 6306) Batumi-Ureki will run to the following schedule: a one-minute stop on all operating platforms (Makhinjauri, Chakvi, Kobuleti, Ochkhamuri, Natanebi, Ureki) in both directions, and a three-minute stop on the Black Sea Arena platform in both directions,” the railway reports.

The announcement reads that due to the allocation of an additional train on May 19, the train (# 613) Batumi-Ozurgeti changes the schedule for one run: departure from Batumi at 18-50 (instead 18-05), arrival in Makhindzhauri at 18-55, 57; Chakvi at 19-10, 19-15; Kobuleti at 19-30, 10-32; Ochkhamuri at 19-19, 19-43; Nataneby at 19-53, 19-55, and in Ozurgeti at 20-55. Stops remain unchanged.

Legendary composer Ennio Morricone will be performing at the Black Sea Arena on May 19 at 20:30. Doors open at 6PM.

The Black Sea Arena signed a contract with General Entertainment Associates, the Dutch company that owns the rights to organize and hold Morricone's concerts, at a cost of EUR 250,000, according to Caucasus Business Week. 

Ennio Morricone is a true titan of the music industry, having enjoyed an over six decade long career scoring soundtracks for more than 500 films and TV shows. He won an Academy Award in 2016 for the "Best Achievement in Music for Motion Pictures, Original Score" for Quentin Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight".
