Queen Elizabeth II Congratulates Georgia on Independence Day

Elizabeth II, the Queen of the United Kingdom, has sent the Georgian President and the Georgian people kind wishes in connection with the 100th anniversary from the establishment of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia.

The British Embassy to Georgia released the letter of congratulations from the queen, which notes that this year is special for Georgia.

“At this time I reflect on the close historic ties between our countries and look forward to our ongoing friendship and cooperation,” the letter reads.
