Georgia Wishes Happy Independence Day to America
Georgian Prime Minister has congratulated the United States of America with the Independence Day on July 4th.
“I wish to congratulate the United States of America and every American with the Independence Day! USA is a friend of Georgia. Kinship between the two countries is based on unique values, such as freedom, equality, rule of law and loyalty to democratic principles,” Bakhtadze’s statement reads.
The PM noted that independence is a value which has been fought for by Georgian people at many occasions.
“That is why we know the price of it very well indeed!” he added.

Happy Independence Day!
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has congratulated President Trump on the Independence Day of the United States of America.
Margvelashvili sent an official congratulatory letter to President Trump, expressing gratitude for US support for Georgia’s statehood, democratic development, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
"My sincere congratulations and best wishes for greater success in all the future endeavors as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly American people!" the president's tweet reads.
