Murdered Teen Investigative to Question Forensics Experts
The temporary investigative commission working on the David Saralidze and Levan Dadunashvili murder case is to continue with the interrogation of experts at the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau next week. An independent expertise hearing is also planned.
Before that, the commission members will meet witnesses in the format of three-member groups. The commission will interrogate adults on Monday July 9, and juvenile witnesses on Tuesday July 10.
The temporary investigative commission consists of 17 people: 9 members from European Georgia and 6 members from the Georgian Dream. Salome Zurabishvili, an independent MP, is also a member of commission. Ada Marshania, member of the Patriot Alliance, refused to attend the session due to European Georgia being in majority.
The commission has already questioned the case prosecutor and some representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the parents of the murdered teens, the school director and two witnesses.
High-ranking officials and a number of other individuals are also expected to be interrogated, including the Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani, Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia and former Chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze.
