Reshuffled Cabinet Approval

The new cabinet has submitted to the Parliament by President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili for a confidence vote.

Approval of the reshuffled cabinet requires more than half of the parliament members’ votes in the 150-seat legislative body. The reshuffled government and the governmental program have been presented to the parliament’s bureau sitting.

Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze presented a reshuffled Cabinet of Ministers at a press-conference on Thursday morning, the new candidates being Mikheil Batiashvili, who is the candidate for Minister of Education, Ivane Machavariani named as the candidate for the Minister of Finance and Giorgi Kobulia put forward as the candidate for the post of the Minister of Economy.

The bureau will be listening to the government and the governmental program for two days before the vote will be cast.
