"Turkey Has Never Been as Democratic"
On July 15-16, Turkey celebrated the second anniversary of the coup attempt in which President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went through one of the most serious political crises in Turkish History.
The Turkish President said during the commemoration that during this night, Turkey not only pushed back the leaders of the military coup, but also saved the dignity of global democracy.
"A night of infamy became a date of victory thanks to the courage of the Turkish people," he wrote in an article. "Since July 15, Turkey has been stronger and more democratic," he then claimed.
To avoid further coup attempts, Erdogan managed to close the Fethullah Terrorist Organization in 16 countries. “We will continue the legal process against the leader of this terrorist organization,” he concluded.
