Talented Young Jazz Musicians to Perform in Tbilisi
Young talented musicians invite guests and residents of Tbilisi to a concert with the young singer Grigol Kipshidze and the successful jazz pianist Papuna Sharikadze, which will take place on September 2.
Organizers promise that in addition to spectacular numbers, Sharikadze and Kipshidze will delight listeners with their improvization. Tickets for the event to be held in the restaurant "Melograno", can be purchased online from TKT.ge.
The cooperation of 23-year-old Grigol Kipshidze and 21-year-old Papuna Sharikadze started a year ago and the artists also plan to organize joint concerts in the future.
Grigol Kipshidze took second place at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2017, and is also a participant of the Georgian analogue of the X-Factor project. The boy was born into a family of musicians Paata and Eka Kipshidze. His parents have their own band, performing in restaurants and bars in Tbilisi. Grigol himself has been singing since he was six, and since the age of nine he has been studying vocals professionally.
Papuna Sharikadze was also fond of music from an early age, and at the age of 17, he went to study at Berkeley College of Music in the US, where he received a scholarship for four years.
