Georgian AI and Literature
The premiere of the Georgian innovative project of artificial intelligence Oraculum 0.1 ("Talking avatars") will be held at the International Book Fair in Frankfurt, where Georgia will appear as the honorary guest country.
The heroes of the innovative project are three avatars with artificial intelligence that will be placed on three screens. Each of them is an independent character, with an original appearance and individual characteristics. They can determine sex and age and hold a conversation. It is planned that each of the avatars will address the guests of the exhibition with a certain phrase from Georgian literature.
"The art of oracles, the oldest tellers of the future, is a lost art, but by using artificial intelligence or other technologies it is possible to revive this art in a new form or at least experiment ... We believe that algorithms know something that in ancient times only oracles, pagan gods of small nations and angels did," said the project creators Zura Jishkariani and Sandro Asatiani.
To create avatars with AI, Anna Gzirishvili, Temo Ezugbaya, Temur Chichua, Dato Samniashvili and Pavle Tabatabade worked together on a project that is supported by the Association of Publishers and Distributors of Books of Georgia, the Georgian National Book Center and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the country.
The Georgian innovative project Oraculum 0.1 will be seen and tested at the Frankfurt International Book Fair, in the pavilion of art and design, at the Georgian national stand.
