Zurabishvili's Stance on Cannabis
On Sunday, independent presidential candidate Salome Zurabishvili spoke to voters in Zugdidi.
"In the past few weeks, since I started my election campaign, false accusations have been spread against me. This fake news is the cancer of today's world. We know that Russia used it in the US elections. Do we, a small country, think that Russia does not meddle in our elections? Russia is working directly, and what is the goal of fake news? To bring me into conflict with everyone, including the church, with these false reports. I am not the queen of cannabis.” Zurabishvili said.
She continued, “They talk as if I have said that I would support the spread of drugs. On the contrary, I have said that I would lead the information campaign.”
Zurabishvili also reiterated her stance that Russia is an aggressor – in 2008, as today.
