Second Velvet Revolution Hits Armenia

GEORGIA TODAY'S special correspondent in Yerevan reports that the second wave of this year's Velvet revolution is in motion.

Prime Minister Pashinyan is said to have fired all the ministers and governors who were representing his former allies in the government, the Tsarukian alliance and the Dashnaks, for joining the coup against the state and statehood.

A large crowd has gathered in front of the parliament building, occupying the garden of the parliament as well as the central administrative Baghramyan Ave in support of the PM as he calls for snap elections.
