President Appoints 4 New Ambassadors
The President of Georgia has appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to four countries.
The position of Ambassador of Georgia in the Republic of Latvia has been given to Tea Maisuradze. Giorgi Janjagava will serve as the Ambassador of Georgia in Turkey and Zaza Kandelaki will be the Ambassador in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
David Dondua was appointed to serve both in the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Austria and as Permanent Representative of Georgia to the the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and other international organizations in Vienna. David Dondua has been Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2015.
Giorgi Janjghava held the position of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to date and Representative of the OIC in Georgia.
Tea Maisuradze has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2009. And from April 2016 to present, she was serving as the Director of the International Organizations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
Zaza Kandelaki was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Hungary until March 1, 2018.
The President of Georgia held a meeting with the ambassadors today and wished them success in their future work.
