Georgian Parliament Postpones Discussion on Cannabis Bill for Two Months

After a recommendation by the Georgian Health Committee, the Parliament of Georgia has decided to postpone its discussion on the law on cannabis and its drafts for two months.  

The law that has been drafted contemplates cannabis cultivation in Georgia and its exportation.  

Further, the Parliament bureau has postponed the action of the legislation to decrease the administrative and criminal responsibilities for cannabis or marijuana usage for one month.  However, the draft of this law was adopted by Parliament at the first reading.
