SRBIJA 2018 Joined By Georgians

A group of 19 Georgian firefighters and rescuers have been sent to participate in the large-scale international drills SRBIJA 2018, which take place in the town of Mladenovac near Belgrade, the Georgian Emergency Management Service announced.

The exercise started on October 8 and will finish today. SRBIJA is held under the auspices of NATO, and they are attended by 170 representatives from 29 NATO member countries and partners. The purpose of the SRBIJA 2018 is to develop mutual cooperation between countries, including the promotion of border cooperation.

The exercises were visited by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who wished the rescue firefighters good luck.
