Imereti Governor Holds Closed Meeting with Other Governors
November 1, Governor of Imereti Shavlegogo Tabatadze held a closed meeting with the governors of other municipalities in Georgia.Tabatadze denied that the meeting was related to the elections. “The meeting with governors was related to ongoing projects in the districts,” he stated. Builders who are implementing projects were also in attendance.
Tabatadze said that the intentions of the meeting were to find out how projects are progressing as the end of the year approaches and to discuss how next year’s projects will be carried out. Builders attending the meeting spoke about their projects and the shortcomings they have experienced so far.
Nonetheless, the first round of elections and a suitable plan for the upcoming elections were still discussed. “I’m sure that the next election will be much more effective and the population will make the right decision for our country and future,” said Tabatadze.
