Acting Armenian PM Warms of Potential Closing of Georgia-Iran Border

Iranians have been flocking to Georgia in recent years due to relative ease of travel between the two countries and the hope for a different and perhaps better life.  However, the Acting Armenian Prime Minister, Nikola Pashinian, recently stated in a speech at Parliament that the access between Iran and Georgia may soon close due to geopolitical issues.    

Pashinian elaborated by noting upon the Armenia-Iran border.  The border between Armenia and Iran could potentially be closed due to the tumultuous relations between the United States and Iran at the moment and the general geopolitical situation with Iran and other countries—the West most specifically.  He stated that the same may be the case for the Georgia-Iran access which is also at risk of being shut down again because of the difficult and perhaps unfortunate geopolitical climate.
