Presidential Elections Turnout by 15:00
According to the Spokesperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Ana Mikeladze, a total of 1 363 493 citizens of Georgia have participated in the presidential run-off. By 15:00 PM, the turnout had reached 38.8%. At 10:00 AM it stood at 7.26% and reached 19.6% by 12:00 PM.
In comparison with the first round of the presidential elections, which took place on October 28, 2018, the turnout today is higher, as during the first round, at 15:00 PM it stood only at 30.98%, with 1 085 790 voters in total.
There are 3,703 polling stations throughout the country and citizens are reminded to cast their vote at the same election precinct which was opened for them during the first round election and where they have already cast their vote.
The polling stations opened at 8:00 AM and will close at 8:00 PM.
More than 49,000 observers from local and international organizations are observing the election run-off.
