CEC Preliminary Results Announced: Zurabishvili Receives 57%, Vashadze - 43%

According to the first preliminary results of the Central Election Commission, Salome Zurabishvili, the presidential candidate supported by the ruling party, received 57%, which is equal to 262,826 votes, while opposition candidate Grigol Vashadze received 43%, equal to 195,305 votes. The relevant information was released by the Chair of the Commission Tamar Zhvania. 

The commission has counted the votes of 1181 polling stations at this stage.
