‘Listen to the Silence’ to be Screened at iDOCS International Documentary Film Festival

Young Georgian director Mariam Chachia has been invited to the iDOCS International Documentary Forum and Film Festival in China.

iDocs is the first independent documentary film festival with official permission in China, which has already been held five times quite successfully. It was first launched in 2009. Only 20 documentary films worldwide are chosen within the scope of the festival.

The documentary ‘Listen to the Silence’ directed by Mariam Chachia, has been selected for iDOCS 2018. Chachia and the producer of the film Nik Voigt will present their work to the spectators in Beijing Film Academy.

Open discussions will take place after the screening. Within the framework of the Forum, Mariam Chachia and Nik Voigt will hold a seminar and workshop for the audience.
