United Opposition Election Headquarters Head to Work for Poroshenko
Giorgi Vashadze, who was the Head of the United Opposition election headquarters in Georgia during the presidential elections, will be working for the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
The information was released by Maestro TV, which was told by Vashadze that he will be helping Poroshenko’s election headquarters for the March 2019 presidential elections.
As Vashadze told Maestro, he was offered a move to Ukraine and work there but he refused and will help Poroshenko's headquarters from Georgia.
Vashadze was Poroshenko's advisor in 2017.
In 2012, Giorgi Vashadze became a member of the Parliament of Georgia on the former ruling UNM list. He founded party New Georgia before the 2016 parliamentary elections.
The Ukraine presidential elections are scheduled for March 31, 2019. The Ukrainian president is elected for a five-year term.
The Ukrainian parliamentary elections will be held in autumn 2019.
