Occupants Detain Person with Disabilities in Khurvaleti

A Georgian citizen Otar Samniashvili was detained by the so-called border guards in Khurvaleti village, Gori district, Shida Kartli region, near the occupation line on Sunday.

The information was confirmed by the State Security Service of Georgia which stated the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) has already been notified about the fact, and the hotline is activated.

Furthermore, the Director of the Khurvaleti shelter for elderly people “House Without Borders”, Luda Salia, claims the detained man is a person with disabilities.

She added that 33-year-old Otar Samniashvili has speech disorders and was detained near the shelter.
