Dazed & Confused Magazine Focuses on Tbilisi
On 11 January, Dazed&Confused Magazine ran a ‘Dazed Tbilisi Day’, focusing on fashion, music and youth culture in Tbilisi.
The magazine that celebrates alternative cultures interviewed prominent figures in Tbilisi’s fashion, LGBTQ and music communities about the challenges they face in creating and living freely in typically conservative Georgia.
Dazed&Confused have heralded a creative revolution in Tbilisi. "Led by a new gen of creative youth, there’s a cultural revolution happening on the streets of Tbilisi right now. Across fashion, art, music, and beyond, we’re exploring what’s happening in the Georgian capital, and why the city deserves to be on your radar."
The magazine published articles on Tbilisi’s psychedelic rap scene as well as what nightlife means to the queer community. They also spoke to prominent people in Tbilisi’s fashion scene about what their city means to them, as well as interviewing underground artists. Finally, they published a guide on how to live like a local in Tbilisi.
