Georgian President to Visit Brussels on January 21

The president of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili is to pay her first official visit to Brussels on January 21.

Today she met with various ministers and officials in preparation for her trip. She discussed Georgia’s foreign affair priorities and ongoing work with the Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani, as well as meeting with the Minister of Defense Levan Izoria and the Minister for Justice Tea Tsulukiani.

The president also met with the European Ambassador to Georgia, Carl Hartzell.

During her visit, she will meet with EU and NATO officials, to further Georgia’s western agenda.

She will visit Brussels on 21 - 23 January.
