PM Sums Up Davos Economic Forum Results
Georgian Prime Minister, Mamuka Bakhtadze stated that during the World Economic Forum held in Davos, all international organizations and experts indicated the success of Georgia.
“Our more and more partners are assured that Georgia has all preconditions to become the economic center of the region,” he told Imedi TV.
He noted that the Davos Economic Forum is completely different for Georgia this year.
“All international organizations and experts point out Georgia's success and it is particularly pleasant that Georgia is an example for other countries on how democratic transformation should be implemented and how economic reforms should be carried out despite the fact that the state may have very painful challenges,” he added.
Bakhtadze added that during the meetings on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Georgia received very positive feedback.
“During the meetings we introduced the package of reforms we are going to implement from the second half of the year and which will allow us to attract more investments to Georgia. We need to create more jobs and similar formats allow us to attract similar investments," he noted.
