Anita Rachvelishvili’s Debut Album Nominated at Opera Awards

The debut album ‘Anita’ of the Georgian Opera singer Anita Rachvelishivili has been nominated at the International Opera Awards in the Best Recording category.

The first album of the singer, comprising 12 arias, was released by Sony Classical Company in March 2018.

Founded in 2012, the International Opera Awards is an annual celebration of excellence in opera around the world, aiming to raise the profile of opera as an art form, recognize and reward success in opera, and generate funds to provide bursaries for aspiring talent in opera from around the world.

The award ceremony will take place on April 29, at Sadler’s Wells Theater in London.
