Famous Georgian Actress Guranda Gabunia Dies at 80
Guranda Gabunia, famous Georgian actress of theater and cinema died at the age of 80 after being ill for a long time.
The family of the actress stated that during she had been under the supervision of the doctors.
Gabunia graduated from the Faculty of Acting at Shota Rustaveli Theater Institute of Georgia in 1960. After completing the Institute she became an actress of Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli Theater.
Since 1975 she had been working at Kote Marjanishvili Theater.
She is well known for her roles in Ekipazh (1980), Tojinebi Itsinian (1962) and Data Tutashkhia (1977).
