American Senator Risch: US Must Continue Sanctions Against Russia

In an interview given to Fox News, US senator Risch raised issues about the American foreign policy.

He particularly insisted on the case of Russia, denouncing its regular “bad behavior” and illegal military interventions and occupations. This, of course, was a reference to the Georgian case among others, and the occupation of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

Risch insisted that the answer to such behavior must be sanctions against Russia. "It is what the American government has been doing and must continue to do," he said.
