Zurabishvili Meets Georgians Residing in Qakh District

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili visited the Qakh District in Azerbaijan as a result of the official visit to the neighboring country.

Along with members of the Georgian delegation, the President visited the Georgian middle school in the village of Kakh Ingilo (Qax İngiloy) and the St. George Church.

At the school, President Zurabishvili was hosted by Head of Qakh Executive Government Musa Shakiliyev and Director of the school Natela Otarashvili.

The Presidential Administration reports that at the St. George Orthodox Church, built in the 18th century, Zurabishvili talked with members of the church community, ethnic Georgians living in Azerbaijan, about any challenges they face.
