Georgia’s Justice Minister Might Resign
Georgia’s Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani stated she does not exclude the possibility of resigning.
The minister made the statement on Tuesday and said that if her opinion is not taken into account regarding an important issue in the ministry, she will resign.
Tsulukiani did not specify what the controversial issue is that might result into her resignation.
“There is a discussion on this issue, and I have my own firm position which does not concern any reform, process or procedure that is now taking place in parliament. This is an issue that, in my opinion, is very important. And if I see that this position is not shared, and there is a contradiction between values, of course, I will step down without any doubts,” she said.
The minister underlined that she has not made any decision yet.
