Equilibrium Movement Travels to Svaneti and Guria

The Equilibrium Movement, founded by Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and well-known for various social and educational projects has traveled to the villages of the regions of Svaneti and Guria.

In the three villages of Svaneti the members of the movement, headed by Kekelidze himself distributed multiple books to the local libraries, while in Guria they launched so-called reading rooms and libraries in the mills, where the guests will have an opportunity to read books on site, borrow them and enjoy pleasant talks about different topics.

Equilibrium was established in 2012 with the aim to revive libraries of the villages and equip them with books, computers and qualified employees. The movement has already carried out and supported numerous projects and left its ‘footprint’ in more than 800 villages.
