Former New Rights Chairperson Appointed as President's Adviser

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili appointed former Chairperson of the New Rights, Pikria Chikhradze, as his new political adviser.

According to Margvelashvili, the new adviser will play a significant role in the presidential administration. The President called Chikhradze, “qualified and of serious political experience.”

Chikhradze said, she would announce when the National Security Council will be invited to discuss the security implications of the Gazprom deal.
