4GB Electronic Music Festival Lineup Released

The full lineup of this year’s 4GB Festival, an annual event showcasing electronic music, was released on Monday. The event organizers announced the musical acts in a video posted on Facebook.

The 4GB Festival began in 2011, and is dedicated to the memory of Gio Bakanidze, a pioneering Georgian electronic DJ who died in 2010. The event is headlined each year by Bakanidze’s favorite DJ, the German electronic musician Michael Mayer. Mayer opened the festival in 2011, playing to a crowd of 1,000. Now, he closes the festival, which last year hosted 36 acts and drew 18,000 visitors, according to 4GB’s website.

The festival will run from May 17-18 and May 24-25. Daily tickets cost 60 GEL, a weekend pass costs 100 GEL and a festival pass costs 150 GEL. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.tkt.ge/4gb.
