Husband Injures Wife and Kills a Man in Agara

A brutal murder occurred in the Village of Agara, Kareli Municipality. The man badly wounded his wife from a cold weapon and killed one man, who, reportedly, was her friend.

The health condition of the injured woman is extremely critical. She has more than 10 wounds, while brutally killed man has 16. The 50-year-old woman was placed to Kareli central hospital.

The person who committed the crime, A.Kh. (DoB 1966), is identified and detained.

The alleged motive of the crime is jealousy.

The investigation has been launched on the fact of attempted murder, under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The offense counts between 16 and 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
