17 Civilians and 38 Policemen Injured During the Clashes


According to recent information, 17 protestors and 38 law-enforcement representatives were injured during the clashes in front of the parliament of Georgia. Around 10 persons were taken into Ingorokva clinic, however a few civilians entered the reception of the clinic in the last few moments.

Davit Srgeenko, Ex Minister of Health, and Eka Tikaradzze, current Minister of Health, arrived at the clinic to visit the injured. “We need to see the patients, patients are our priority right now,” said Eka Tikaridze. At this point, both Sergeenko and Tikaridze offer no comments about the protest still taking place on Rustaveli Ave.

The policemen using tear gas and rubber bullets on the protestors, caused the injuries.
