Uzbekistan Airways Launches Flights to Georgia
From today, July 16, yet another foreign Airline company is entering the Georgian air market, reports Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
Uzbekistan Airways is to offer regular direct flights between Tashkent and the Georgian capital until the end of the summer navigation season. The flights will be carried out twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays with Airbus A320, Boeing B757, B767, as well as B787 aircrafts.
Uzbekistan Airways was granted the relevant permit for implementing flights to Georgia by the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency on July 8.
Uzbekistan Airways was launched in 1992. Currently, the company operates flights to more than 40 destinations, including the EU countries, the USA, India, as well as Japan.
