International Black Sea Wine Festival
Georgian wine foundation presents International Black Sea Wine Festival. This time Batumi will be the host of yet another wine festival in Georgia. About a hundred wine producers will present hundreds of species of Georgian Wine and Georgian vodka (chacha).
Since there’s still about two weeks until the opening of festival, you can plan ahead and choose the best date to fit your schedule. The proposed dates of the festival are: August 16, 17 and 18.
At the Old Boulevard of Batumi up to a hundred wine producers will give you a free wine tasting possibility, while also being able to buy the products of your liking. The event will feature Ethno culinary exhibition – you can taste Georgian cheese, dry fruits, and the famous Georgian snack Churchkhela. Additionally, the visitors will have a chance to join the Master class of traditional dishes. The International Black Sea Wine Festival plans to exhibit Georgian handicrafts as well - products by 40 producers (Enamel, clay, felt products). Modern artworks by 30 Georgian modern painters will be the final touch of the festival – the needed cherry on top.
