Kakhaber Kemoklidze Appointed Head of NSC Office

Kakhaber Kemoklidze, Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been appointed Head of the Office of the National Security Council.

According to the government's press office, the relevant order was signed by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze.

Kemoklidze headed the Information-Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since April 2018. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Head of the Monitoring and Analysis Division of the Occupied Territories. He also held the position of Deputy Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the State Security Service.
