Estonian President Condemns Borderization Between Georgia and Tskhinvali

Estonia's President Kersti Kaljulaid condemned the continuing borderization between Georgia and Russian-occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.

“Talked with Salome Zourabichvili today to affirm that Estonia condemns the continuing borderization on the line of evil between Georgia and occupied South Ossetia (pictured: my visit from 2 years ago). The international community will not forget the partial occupation of Georgia”, Kersti Kaljulaid has tweeted.

The installation of barbed wire fences was launched by military forces on August 7 and restarted on August 14, after a week-long pause. Later, it was suspended for several days and resumed on August 19.
