New PM Candidate to Be Introduced Tomorrow

Gia Volski, the leader of the parliamentary majority, has commented on the resignation of Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and noted that the new candidate for the position of the Head of the Georgian Government is set to be introduced tomorrow, September 3, after completion of a session of the Political Council.

“Everything will be revealed tomorrow. The new Prime Minister will present the Cabinet of Ministers. Thus, speaking in advance will be inappropriate,” stated Volski.

Mamuka Bakhtadze made a statement about his resignation as Prime Minister through his official Facebook page earlier today.
