Minister Cabinet Renewed


A renewed list of Minister Cabinet staff and Governmental program for the years 2019-2020 has been presented to the Bureau of Parliament.

The Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, Archil Talakvadze, presented the new Minister Cabinet to the members of the bureau.

Mikheil Batiashvili has been named for the post of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Levan Datiashvili – for the Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection; Natia Turnava – for the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development; Irakli Gharibashvili – for the Minister of Defense; Tea Tsulukiani – for the Minister of Justice of Georgia;  Ekaterine Tikaradze – for the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Affairs of Georgia; Maia Ckitishvili – for the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure; Davit Zalikiani – for the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Ivane Matchavariani for the Minister of Finance; Vakhtang Gomelauri – for the Minister of Internal Affairs, and Ketevan Cikhelashvili – for the Minister of State Ministry for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

Talakvadze explained that the committees and fractions will review the renewed Minister Cabinet as well as the Governmental program. After that, the deputies will discuss the new staff members of the Government at the plenary session of Parliament.
