Tbilisi Piano Fest

Currently the biggest musical event in the capital: Tbilisi Piano Fest.

With the support of Tbilisi City Hall and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Tbilisi hosts its first-ever Tbilisi Piano Fest, from September 1 to September 7.

Within the frames of the festival famous and talented artists have come to Georgia.

National Youth Palace has opened its doors for the event. While world-known classical musicians have come and gone by now on the stage the National Youth Palace, the remaining two days of the festival still has three great artists to present: Gabriele Leporatti, Edisher Savitski, and Gesa Lücker.

Masterclasses of these three artists can also be attended free of charge, 3 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in National Youth Palace.

Little information about Gabriele Leporatti who will take over the stage of Tbilisi Piano Fest with a program of Bach on Monday, September 5, at 8 PM.

“The passionate playing style of the young Italian pianist Gabriele Leporatti, full of aesthetic sensibility and depth, shows the influence of his teachers Maria Tipo and Fabio Bidini. Gabriele graduated "summa cum laude" from the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence when aged only nineteen, before moving on to further study in the USA and Germany. Prizewinner of several national and international piano competitions, he enjoys an active concert schedule with extensive concert tours that have taken him to Spain, several times to the USA, to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Poland, South Africa, Turkey and China, and to prestigious concert venues including London's Wigmore Hall, the broadcasting house of NDR Hannover, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and the He Luting Hall in Shanghai.”
