Tskitishvili: Appointment of Female Vice PMs "Promotes Discipline"

“The appointment of female vice PMs significantly promotes discipline,” is how Maia Tskitishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, assessed the fact that the new PM of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, named her and Justice Minister Tsulukiani as the Vice Prime Ministers.  

She also explained what Gakharia meant when he called on the Cabinet of Ministers to be disciplined.

‘’It’s not about problems, but about the speed of decision-making, the effectiveness of decision-making. In this case, discipline means both the decision-making process and the process of executing decisions," she noted.

As Gakharia said at his first meeting with the new Cabinet on Friday, they are experienced members of the ruling team.

“These are old, experienced members of our team and I am sure that their appointment will further strengthen the team,” the new PM noted.
