Moon on Importance of Taking Actions against Occupation

Madeleine Moon, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, traveled to the village of Khurvaleti, Gori Municipality, earlier today to see the current situation near the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) on site.

Moon was also informed about the recent developments in the villages of Gugutiantkari and Chorchana.

While commenting on the case, the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly focused on the importance of taking actions to improve the situation on the said territories.

“It is our job to observe, ask questions and obtain evidence for our next meeting in London in October,” stated Moon, adding, “We will do it and I promise we will not just write a report. We will do everything we can to create a broader understanding of the existing situation here.”

Madeleine Moon highlighted the poor conditions the residents of the village have to live in.
