Georgia to Host Manhattan Short Film Festival

On October 1-2, the Amirani Cinema of the capital of Georgia is to host the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.

Within the framework of the event, which is to kick off on September 26 and end on October 6, screenings of the selected films will take place in over 400 cities across the globe.

“Film lovers worldwide unite to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world when the 22nd Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival screens in over 400 cities worldwide September 26 to October 6, 2019,” reports the official website of the festival.

MANHATTAN SHORT is the largest festival of short films, bringing together nearly 100,000 cinema enthusiasts and having the audience as the jury through the voting system.

Georgian film ‘8 Minutes’ won the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival in 2017.
