US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Session to Further Bilateral Relations
Today, a plenary session within the framework of the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter will open in Washington DC.
Defense and security, democracy and governance, economy, trade and investment and people-to-people relations will be discussed during the session.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry reported that the Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Georgia will open the meeting from the Georgian side. The US side will be represented by Deputy Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
Georgia Ambassador to the US, Archil Gegeshidze, says a number of bilateral issues will be discussed at the meeting.
“This dialogue will further advance the Georgian-US relations.”
Representatives of various Georgian governmental agencies will participate in the meeting. The session is organized within the framework of the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter.
