Georgia to Present National Stand at Frankfurt Book Fair 2019

At the upcoming Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) 2019, which is set to take place on October 16-20, Georgia will present its National Stand and introduce itself with the new slogan ‘Follow the Journey of Georgian Characters.’

The guests of the world’s largest book fair will have a chance to discover Georgia and country’s treasures at three different areas, including Georgian National Stand, Georgian published and unpublished children’s book stand, as well as the Spend 4 Seasons in Georgia.

The event is to bring together numerous Georgian and international authors and publishers, and will offer various literature, as well as business activities. Nearly ten Georgian publishing companies will be present at the 5-day fair to introduce the country’s culture to wider audiences.

On the second day of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Georgian National Stand will traditionally host a reception, which is to be attended by the organizers of the Fair and the experts of the of the world’s publishing sector.

This is not the first appearance of Georgia at Frankfurt Book Fair. The country enjoyed the status of the Guest of Honor of the event last year and obtained a lot of success there.
