Winners Announced For the Litera 2019 Contest

The winners of the joint literary contest of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia and the Writer’s House have been announced.

The Literature Award "Litera" was launched in 2015 and has been issued annually since then.

The scope of the literary prize competition included a myriad of original literary works published in 2018 in Georgian language. The number of books submitted for each nomination was not limited. The results of the competition were evaluated by the jury consisting of 5 members selected by the Writers’ House. The winners were revealed by secret ballot. 

The winner in each of the nominations will be awarded GEL5000.
