Homophobes Protest, but 'And Then We Danced' Wins Another Int'l Award

While the homophobic rally is still hitting Tbilisi to protest the screening of ‘And Then We Danced’, the film won yet another award.

The award ceremony of Listapad, an international film festival in Minsk, saw Levan Gelbakhiani gaining Best Actor Award for his portrayal of Merab in ‘And Then We Danced’.

Other Georgian works also caught the judges’ attention. Salome Demuria got the Best Actress Award for her performance in ‘Inhale-Exhale’, and ‘The Criminal Man,’ a Georgian production directed by Dimitri Mamulia, won the Best Sound/Score Award.
